Return to the Western Conference Finals
After a grueling seven-game series to eliminate the defending champion Nuggets, the Timberwolves are back in the Western Conference Finals for the first time in 20 years. “This has been a great season. The upcoming Western Conference Finals will also mark veteran Mike Conley’s return to this stage after 11 years. Conley noted the stark difference in play styles between the Mavericks and the Nuggets and expressed confidence that the Wolves are ready for any challenge.

Rudy Gobert, who was named to the All-Defensive First Team today, stated that reaching the Conference Finals is not taken for granted. “This is my dream. I’ve always dreamed of being a champion. Since I entered this league, that has been my goal—to win a championship,” Gobert said. “When I was traded here, the first thing I said was that I believe in this organization, I believe in this team.”
